OIML Calibration Weights

Adam's calibration weights are available in sets or separately. Individual weights are packaged in a plastic box complete with forceps and white cotton glove; calibration weight sets come complete in an aluminium box.
We offer calibration weights approved to OIML standards (International Organization of Legal Metrology). These weights are used by calibration houses and laboratories for the external calibration of weighing scales and balances.

Applications
Calibration test houses:
Calibration test houses use approved calibration weights to check weighing scales and balances are within the tolerance and resolution levels specified.
Laboratories:
Laboratories that use high-precision balances need to ensure that the balances being used are regularly maintained and checked to ensure precision is maintained. Whilst many high-tech analytical and micro-balances have built-in calibration, other precision balance varieties may require external calibration with OIML approved weights.
